Reason for Recall:

Product Hazard Information:

Health Canada regulations require specific safety information and packaging standards for consumer chemical products. While this product contains standard caution warnings, the recalled product lacks the Canadian-mandated hazard symbols, and a child-resistant closure (CRC), which are required to ensure consumer safety and regulatory compliance.

As stated on the product label: “Contains Oxalic Acid. Do not allow to contact metal surfaces. Avoid skin and eye contact. Wear protective gloves, eye wear, and clothing. Danger! Poison! Eye irritant. Harmful or fatal if swallowed. Keep out of reach of children.”
